Our Programs

Practical, community-led support that removes the everyday barriers keeping vulnerable children across Africa out of school.

What We Do

Support That Meets Children Where They Are

Every child we work with faces a different set of barriers. Some need a uniform to attend school with dignity. Some need books, shoes, or school fees. Some need a meal so they can concentrate. Some have lost parents and need a steady hand to keep them on the path to education.

Our programs respond to these real, everyday needs — practically, quickly, and with the child at the centre of every decision.

Education & School Access

Helping vulnerable children enrol, stay enrolled, and succeed in school.

Education is the single most powerful tool we have for breaking the cycle of poverty. Yet across Africa, millions of children — especially orphans and those in children's homes — are out of school simply because their families cannot afford the hidden costs of "free" education.

Our Education program covers the fees, materials, and support that keep a child in the classroom, term after term.

What this program provides

  • School fees & exam registration costs
  • Textbooks, exercise books & stationery
  • Backpacks & learning materials
  • Transport support where needed
  • School enrolment & follow-up with families

Uniforms & Clothing

Giving every child the dignity and confidence to walk into a classroom.

In many African schools, a child without a proper uniform is turned away at the gate — regardless of how bright or determined they are. For families already struggling to eat, a uniform is an impossible expense.

We provide school uniforms, everyday clothing, and shoes so that no child is excluded from learning because of what they wear.

What this program provides

  • Complete school uniforms
  • Everyday clothing for children in care
  • School shoes & socks
  • Warm clothing for cold seasons
  • Replacement garments as children grow

School Meals

Because a hungry child cannot learn.

For many children, the meal they receive at school is the only full meal they will eat that day. Hunger doesn't just affect health — it affects concentration, attendance, and a child's ability to stay in school at all.

Where schools have feeding programmes, we help keep them running. Where they don't, we work with partners to establish them.

What this program provides

  • Daily nutritious school lunches
  • Support for school kitchen equipment
  • Food supplies for care homes
  • Emergency food relief during droughts
  • Nutrition education for families

Child Support

Practical care for the children who need it most — orphans, children in care homes, and those in extreme hardship.

Some children face barriers that go far beyond a missing uniform. They have lost parents, been displaced by conflict or climate, or are growing up in institutions with very limited resources.

Our Child Support program works with children's homes, extended families, and community guardians to make sure vulnerable children have what they need to stay healthy, safe, and in school.

What this program provides

  • Care packages for orphans & children in homes
  • Basic hygiene & personal essentials
  • Emergency support during family crises
  • School reintegration for out-of-school children
  • Ongoing follow-up with guardians & schools

Community Partnerships

Lasting change is built with communities — not imposed on them.

We don't work in isolation. We partner with local schools, children's homes, community leaders, and volunteers who know their communities best. They tell us what children need. We help provide it.

This is how we make sure our support is culturally appropriate, sustainable, and actually reaches the children who need it most.

What this program provides

  • Support for partner schools & care homes
  • Capacity-building for local teams
  • Shared reporting & accountability frameworks
  • Volunteer coordination & mentorship
  • Long-term community relationships

Awareness & Advocacy

Speaking up for the children whose voices are rarely heard.

A child who is out of school because of poverty, conflict, or drought is not invisible — but their story often is. We share the realities African children face, and we advocate for the policies and support that help them stay in school.

We work with local media, community groups, and supporters around the world to keep children's education at the top of the agenda.

What this program provides

  • Public awareness campaigns on children's education
  • Advocacy for orphan & vulnerable child support
  • Documentation of community needs
  • Education & safeguarding workshops
  • Global storytelling with dignity & consent
